The Autistic Community does not support Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) – ABA Controversy Autism Discussion

It’s extremely sad, discouraging and apparent that many community goers do not understand the importance of ABA services for children and adults alike. Applied Behavioral Analysis is based on Skinners (1953b) “operant conditioning” that works by reverting one’s negative behavior to a positive one, as well as being the most effective form of therapy for individuals with autism spectrum syndrome (ASD), and other forms of delay developmental disability disorders. If anybody truly believes there is no use for ABA services for one’s with behavioral deficits then please provide ample evidence its not effective, also include scholarly resources to back your claim up.
